Audience – Who and where are you from

Please spare one moment to leave this  class a quick comment telling them who and where you are. Once the pupils understand that they have a global audience for their writing, they will use their blog from outside of school to write about things that interest them. Any comment left will be checked before being approved and the pupils will be encouraged to reply later .

Piñata fun!

A huge thank you to Sophia ( and her parents) who made a piñata for her Mexico project. We had a great time bashing it and were delighted to find sweets and facts about Mexico inside.

Animal nutrition

Yesterday Ms Smith very kindly came into school to talk to us about animal nutrition, as part of our health topic. She talked to us about the importance of a balanced diet for both us and animals and how we can provide a good environment for our pets.

Thank you Ms Smith

Fun with the glocks!

Today we had a great time with the glockenspiels playing DeeCee’s Blues. We learnt to play the music by heart and then we improvised our own tunes.

What a brilliant day we’ve had identifying local wildlife, discussing how to conserve water, the importance of reducing, reusing and recycling not to mention pond dipping!
A huge thank you to all the adults who came along.
